It’s embarrassing but the Jimmy Kimmel debacle actually is important. It was the first real attempt by the Project 2025 movement to flex their muscle against someone who wasn’t a nameless, defenseless nobody and it catastrophically flopped in less than a week.

So much cope about DeepSeek. Not only did they release a great model. they also released a breakthrough training method (R1 Zero) that’s already reproducing. I doubt they lied about training costs, but even if they did they’re still awesome for this great gift to the world.

Australia banned social media for children under 16. Some say the ban will protect kids from dangerous material, improve their mental health & help them get better sleep. Others argue it will increase social isolation & impede young people's free speech. What do you think?

Incredibly interesting result here. Combining rapamycin with exercise didn't help and may have even impaired exercise adaptations in older adults! Reminds me of metformin (also once marketed as a "longevity drug"), which also blunts exercise adaptations in certain contexts.
