A couple months in, Apple has already broken a basic feature required by competing app stores. 😕 Apps on Apple’s store can recognize a user across all of their devices, but competing app stores can’t, because Apple inserts itself and this tracking tech between users and devs.

Is this the "fair competition" praised by recent articles? If a store with dominant market share taking a 30% cut can bully developers into not passing on savings to customers on competing stores with lower fees, then competition doesn't stand a chance.

Big yikes: Google will confiscate, for itself, all profits made from AI content on YouTube. AI should be a tool for enhancing human creativity and opportunity. Now Google has made it plain that they see it solely as a means to take from creators for themselves.
