Netflix is deliberately choosing to pay people to create sexualized content for children. Freedom of speech should be respected, but this is PAID speech. Netflix is going out of their way and reaching into their wallet to push this.

Jensen Huang wants to sell more chips to China because that’s good for his business. But American compute should go to American labs. Strengthening export controls on AI chips and manufacturing equipment is a national security imperative to keep the US ahead of China.

Mythos also highlights why it’s insane that we’re allowing NVIDIA to sell chips to China. US labs need all the chips they can get and our compute advantage has been the main thing keeping us in the lead on AI. Why on earth would we voluntarily hand that over to China?

Hegseth tried to kill Anthropic with the misleading way he described the supply chain risk designation in his tweet announcement. But it looks like the company will survive now that the smoke has cleared a bit:

Designating Anthropic a “Supply-Chain Risk to National Security” rather than just canceling the contract is the biggest own goal of this entire administration. Deeply shameful behavior that weakens national security and makes it harder for us to win the global AI competition.

Massive own goal to export these AI chips to China. The H200 is 6x more powerful than the H20, which was previously the most powerful chip approved for export. Our compute advantage is the main thing keeping us ahead of China in AI. Why would we throw that away?
