Reviving this account to say: Almost everyone at Vimeo was laid off yesterday, including the entire video team. If you're looking for talented engineers, there are a few on the market. Sucks to see something I built killed by private equity in a technology company skin suit.

Congratulations to Barry, to whom I owe more than I can explain. I, like so many people who worked with him at the Post, wouldn’t be where I am without him. He was the captain of Post sports, willing to help with no expectation of credit and offer advice without judgment.

I, like so many people I respect and love, was laid off today. What an incredible honor it was to spend 12 years there. I am so grateful for everyone who read and encouraged and lived seasons with us. I am so sad the Post sports family won’t be there to live it with you again.
