Remember when ChatGPT helped someone plan a mass shooting, and a dozen OpenAI employees notified management, and they did nothing and 8 people died? They don't want to be liable for their incompetence and role in such things, despite doing absolutely nothing to prevent it.

The nickel and dime era of AI is here. Can't wait until people have to start paying the real cost. "What do you mean the base plan is $200 a month and I have to purchase add-ons for everything?"

Wait wait wait waaait a second.... He's saying he wants his $500,000 engineer to actually cost him $750,000 by using $250,000 worth of AI tokens. Wasn't AI supposed to make things cheaper, not cost 50% more?

Two years ago, Amazon forced ads on you unless you wanted to pay another $36 a year. Now, they're also locking 4K video behind the plan and raising the price to an additional $60 a year on top of already paying them $139 annually. Enshittification to a T.

AI code is breaking Amazon systems at an increasing rate and it's such a problem that junior and mid-level engineers now aren't allowed to commit AI-assisted code without a senior engineer reviewing it. Is anyone surprised?

This is insane. Won't say OpenAI didn't train on YouTube, and now basically implies some of those jobs shouldn't have been there in the first place if the "content is not very high quality." So, they'll steal from and replace you if they think you're of "low quality". Yikes.
