btw the Mercedes/Nvidia L2++ stack is vision only, with the classic AV for safety is vision + radar for classification. Main autonomy stack is vision only. No LiDAR in the stack. It's entirely end to end. This is essentially an open source/available version of Tesla's FSD.

I think the Mac mini with M6, 32GB of RAM and whatever storage is the perfect value Qwen3.8 27B machine Full Mac, full computer, new GPU/ANE should help model perf. I don't know if you can beat this package for $1499

M6 in the Mac mini now has support for fp8 ops on the matrix cores in the GPU But even cooler it has 2 neural engines. There are a total of neural-engine cores with two 16-core neural engines, then can work in tandem for a single operation or work on two simultaniously

I have always thought Apple Watch + AirPods + iPhone has made the most sense for AI hardware It’s easy and works as your normal products too. Apple seems to be at least sorta heading in that direction as an option
