Is this the "fair competition" praised by recent articles? If a store with dominant market share taking a 30% cut can bully developers into not passing on savings to customers on competing stores with lower fees, then competition doesn't stand a chance.

AI Darth Vader in Fortnite last year and now Gemini's pure world model show how fast AI is evolving. We'll see constant leapfrogging between engine centric AI and world model centric AI until they come together for maximum effect.

World models have huge advantages in vast knowledge of the world and ability to mash up varied content and styles. Engines have huge advantages in a stable representation of the world, reproducible simulation, and GPU and power efficient rendering.

Justifiable costs? Likely $10's to $100's per app review, not a percentage of developer revenue. This is the beginning of true, untaxed competition in payments worldwide on iOS.

Big yikes: Google will confiscate, for itself, all profits made from AI content on YouTube. AI should be a tool for enhancing human creativity and opportunity. Now Google has made it plain that they see it solely as a means to take from creators for themselves.

The “small developer trade organization” con job that Apple funds to work against the interests of small developers is hosting an event. Get this — they have named it “AppCon”. A kernel of truth in a sea of lies!
