I find this to be such a weird deal. Why do it? Of what use is model routing? It's annoying, time-consuming, and leads to subpar outputs for many queries. It's clearly something temporary that will become outmoded pretty soon.

I just ran into an issue where GPT 5.6 Sol just straight-up deletes the files it's working with and then panics about recovering them. Apparently I'm the not the first person this has happened to. What's going on?

I think in situations like this, the police should be able to push the Waymo out of the way and Google should be forced to cover the bill. Waymos blocked traffic during the power outage in SF and now they've impaired the response to a mass shooter. Enough!

A paper that I previously cited here for it's cool results (described below) was just retracted for fraud. It was entirely made up and the experiment never happened. The author has been kicked out of MIT.
