there's a world in which Dems win in '28, they champion Anthropic because of all this, intentionally fuck xAI and OpenAI, and Anthropic leads us to AGI i wouldnt bet on it, but it'd be an insanely funny self-own and a massive victory for EAs

i'd actually be very curious to see a breakdown of compensation across labs i just figured Anthropic was right up there w/ OpenAI, Meta, etc in competing hard via comp packages...but maybe not? maybe the Religion of Claude is enough of a draw to work under Dario?
