I've heard a lot of questions about Fable's availability on subscription plans. While it will come off subscriptions after July 7th, we aim to restore Fable as a standard part of our subscriptions as soon as capacity allows, as we mentioned in our original blog post.

Claude Opus 4.6 with 1M context is now included in Max, Team, and Enterprise subscriptions. Select it with /model. It now counts against your normal plan limits, no extra usage required.

it’s a very good model, I spent a lot of time diving into it- longer write up coming but try it on lower effort for tasks that need less verification or have fewer edge cases, switching effort no longer breaks prompt cache as well

Managed Agents is the first 'agent in the cloud' API that has the right mix of simplicity and complexity. Implementation details like how you manage a sandbox are abstracted, but you have a lot of control over the actual execution of the model.

This is part of working with the EU AI Act, other labs are adding similar watermarking. It’s hard to identify AI-generated text, and this gives people better tools to do that. We’ll also be a shipping text detection API that you can use yourself.

this should be a huge update in your model of software engineering: rewrites can be good, cheap and fast of course most apps are not as testable and verifiable as Bun, but the models will continue to get better at filling those gaps

Opus 4.5 is special. A world record in SWEBench and OSWorld benchmarks, the best model we've ever had at vision. On Claude Code, I've completely stopped writing code in the IDE. I think there's so much to discover about Opus 4.5, I hope you enjoy using it.

We've landed a lot of efficiency wins to offset this, but ~7% of users will hit session limits they wouldn't have before, particularly for pro tiers. If you run token-intensive background jobs, shifting them to off-peak hours will stretch your session limits further.

Skills allow you to extend Claude Code in new ways using pre-packaged instructions and code. For example, add the docx skill to let Claude Code create word documents. I think skills make Claude Code even better as a general purpose agent, I'm excited to see how you use them!
